Boyle County coach Steve Adams started the following lineup: Jacob Lassiter, 6-0 Sr. Jason Alexander, 6-0 Jr. Caleb Jackson, 5-7 Sr. Matthew Bodner, and 5-10 Sr. Bryce Slone ( Boyle County was missing several key players due to preparation for the state football championships). Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson countered with 6-2 Sr. Terrence Clayton-Murphy, 6-2 Jr. Jalen Burbage, 6-5 Sr. Alex Pickett, 5-11 Fr. Myles Morones, and 5-11 Jr. Kendrick Curry.
Bryan Station defeated Boyle County by a score of 70-53. Bryan Station shot 55.8% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on six of 15 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Boyle County turnovers. Boyle County shot 35.6% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Rebels connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers.
6-3 Sr. Eric Boone led Bryan Station with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Terrence Clayton-Murphy added 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jalen Burbage recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. 5-11 So. James Lindsay chipped in with 10 points. Myles Morones added eight points and seven rebounds.
Jason Alexander led Boyle County with 18 points and four rebounds. Bryce Slone added 17 points including five three point baskets and three steals.
