Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Spencer Baird, 5-11 Jr. Blake Smith, 6-8 So. Riley Bodner, 5-10 8th Grade Jaxon Smith, and 5-10 Sr. Chase Phillips.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. Cameron King, 6-1 Sr. Devontae Hayes, 6-9 So. Ray Suratt, 5-10 Sr. Eric Powell, and 5-11 Sr. Fousseyni Diallo.

 

Lafayette pulled away in the second half to defeat Lincoln County 74-58.  There were three ties and 10 lead changes in the game.  Lafayette shot 47.4% from the field including 10 of 29 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 21 Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 51.1% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Ray Suratt led Lafayette with 19 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Eric Powell added 13 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and six steals.  Cameron King recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and five assists.  Fousseyni Diallo added 10 points, two assists, and two steals. 

 

Chase Phillips led Lincoln County with 22 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Blake Smith added nine points.  Riley Bodner recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.
