Clay County connected on 10 three point baskets on their way to a 70-45 victory over Corbin. Clay County shot 37.7% from the field including 10 of 24 from the three point line. The Lady Tigers connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. Corbin shot 31.9% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Redhounds connected on 16 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and committed 22 turnovers.
5-9 So. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 18 points including three three point baskets and six assists. 5-4 Fr. Taylor Asher added 16 points including 14 of 18 free throws and five rebounds. 5-6 Jr. Shelby Phillips recorded nine points on three three point baskets and three rebounds. 5-9 Jr. Summer Parker added eight points.
5-10 Jr. Makenzie Grant led Corbin with 13 points and 10 rebounds. 5-7 Fr. Shelby Stewart added 10 points and six rebounds. 6-1 Jr. Jadyn Robertson recorded seven points and four rebounds.
