Christian Academy of Louisville coach Perry White started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Shelby Calhoun, 5-8 So. Mia Beam, 5-11 Fr. Sydney Racque, 5-6 Jr. Hayley Ice, and 5-8 Sr. Riley Sexton. Fern Creek coach Shanda Miller countered with 5-10 Jr. Kaelynn Fox, 5-7 Sr. Alexis Smith, 6-1 Jr. Tiana Austin, 5-7 Jr. Myiana Foree, and 5-7 So. Madelyn Ridener.
Christian Academy of Louisville defeated Fern Creek by a score of 79-65. CAL shot 38.7% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Centurions connected on 27 of 35 free throws, pulled down 57 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 19 Fern Creek turnovers. Fern Creek shot 31.2% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Tigers connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 29 CAL turnovers.
Shelby Calhoun had an incredible night for CAL and led the Lady Centurions with 35 points including 15 of 19 free throws, 33 rebounds, seven assists, and five assists. Mia Beam added 20 points and three steals. Sydney Racque chipped in with 11 points. 5-6 8th Grade Abigail Embry recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and two steals.
Alexis Smith led Fern Creek with 16 points, eight rebounds, and five steals. Miyana Foree added 15 points and six rebounds. Tiana Austin recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.
