Trinity vs. St. Xavier

Trinity defeated St. Xavier by a score of 38-21 to capture the 6A Championship. Trinity recorded 20 first downs and 505 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized 10 times for 86 yards and had two passes intercepted. St. Xavier recorded 15 first downs and 275 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized twice for 22 yards and had one pass intercepted.
Rondale Moore led Trinity’s ground game with 174 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Luke McGuire carried the ball seven times for 36 yards. Nick Bohn completed 19 of 26 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Rondale Moore caught five passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. Nick Strothman added four receptions for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Ryan Miller caught four passes for 56 yards. T. Palombino added three receptions for 40 yards. Jacob Dingle returned two kickoffs for 45 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Nick Cardosi led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Arak McDuffey added five solo and three assisted tackles with 4.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards. Jacob Dingle recorded three solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Ethan Hull added six solo and one assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 23 yards.
Jack Albers led St. Xavier’s ground game with 50 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Jack Albers completed nine of 22 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Will Crum caught five passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Ben Mueller added three receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. Andre Coleman returned three kickoffs for 70 yards with a long return of 32 yards. Cameron Garrett returned two kickoffs for 46 yards with a long return of 34 yards. Andrew Uhls led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Jude Carlon added six solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Sam Boarman recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Evan Walker added four solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.
