Lincoln County coach Cassandra McWhorter started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Trinity Shearer, 5-9 Jr. Zaria Napier, 6-0 Jr. Kaitlynn Wilks, 5-5 Jr. Maddy Boyle, and 5-11 Jr. Emma King. Scott coach Rhonda Klette countered with 5-8 Sr. Anna Clephane, 5-6 Fr. Emma Profitt, 5-9 Fr. Sofia Allen, 5-5 Fr. Laci Reinhart, and 5-6 Jr. Summer Secrist.
Lincoln County led 68-45 early in the final quarter and survived an 18-2 run by Scott to end the game to earn a 70-63 victory. Lincoln County shot 42.4% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Patriots connected on 10 of 16 from the line, pulled down 52 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Scott turnovers. Scott shot 30.7% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 23 Lincoln County turnovers. Scott held a 25-17 advantage in offensive rebounds and a 20-10 advantage in second chance points.
Kaitlynn Wilks led Lincoln County with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Emma King added 25 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and five assists. Maddy Boyle chipped in with seven points, three rebounds, and six assists. Zaria Napier pulled down 14 rebounds.
Anna Clephane led Scott with 33 points, nine rebounds, and three steals. Sofia Allen added 14 points, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals. Emma Profitt recorded six points and 11 rebounds.
