Clay County raced out to a 34-18 halftime lead on their way to a 60-45 victory. Clay County shot 39.7% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Tigers connected on 28 of 36 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers. Harlan shot 39.5% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Dragons connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.
5-9 So. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 35 points including two three point baskets, 15 of 17 free throws, 10 rebounds, and two assists. 5-4 Fr. Taylor Asher added 15 points including seven of nine free throws. 5-9 Jr. Summer Parker recorded seven points and five rebounds. 5-6 Jr. Shelby Phillips pulled down eight rebounds.
5-9 Sr. MacKenzie King led Harlan with 17 points and 13 rebounds. 5-0 Jr. Payeton Charles and 5-7 Sr. Noah Canady each scored seven points. 6-0 Sr. Brandi Haywood chipped in with six points.
