Scott County led 36-30 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to earn a 78-59 victory over Clay County. Scott County shot 45.2% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed six turnovers. Clay County shot 33.9% from the field including five of 26 from beyond the arc. The Lady Tigers connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed 21 turnovers.
5-10 Sr. Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 20 points and six rebounds. 5-5 Jr. Juliette Smith added 15 points and 5-5 So. Morgan DeFoor chipped in with 11 points. 5-10 Jr. Maaliya Owens recorded seven points and six rebounds.
5-9 So. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 24 points including two three point baskets and eight of eight free throws. 5-9 Jr. Summer Parker added 11 points and 10 rebounds. 5-6 Jr. Shelby Phillips recorded eight points and five rebounds. 5-4 Fr. Tayor Asher chipped in with seven points and 5-5 Jr. Kimberlyn Mills pulled down 11 rebounds.
