LaSalle (OH) coach Dan Fleming started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Riley Haubner, 6-0 Jr. Nathan Vogelpohl, 6-2 Sr. Henry Louden, 5-10 Sr. Sherwin Ealy, and 6-0 So. Derek Eddings.  Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-8 Jr. Nick Thelen, 6-3 Sr. AJ Mayer, 7-1 Sr. Jack Walter, 5-10 Sr. Aiden Ruthsatz, and 6-4 Sr. CJ Frederick.

Covington Catholic outscored LaSalle (OH) 22-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 67-49 victory over LaSalle (OH).  Covington catholic shot 49% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 LaSalle (OH) turnovers.  LaSalle (OH) shot 41% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lancers connected on 12 of 12 free throws, pulled down 16 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Aiden Ruthsatz led Covington catholic with 17 points including two three point baskets.  Jack Walter added 16 points and 12 rebounds.  CJ Frederick recorded 14 points and four rebounds. 

Riley Haubner led LaSalle (OH) with 18 points including two three point baskets.  6-3 Jr. Kodyn Lambert added 15 points including six of six free throws.
