Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson Jr. started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Eric Boone, 6-2 Sr. Terrence Clayton-Murphy, 6-2 Jr. Jalen Burbage, 5-11 Fr. Myles Morones, and 5-11 Jr. Kendrick Curry.  Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry countered with 5-9 Sr. Shawn Short, 5-9 So. Hunter Buchanan, 6-2 So. Trent Moberly, 5-8 Jr. Josh Reynolds, and 5-8 Sr. Tre McCreath.

 

Bryan Station recorded 17 steals, three blocked shots, and scored 29 points off 20 Madison Southern turnovers in an 83-55 victory.  Bryan Station shot 52.4% from the field including six of 23 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and held a 29-12 advantage in bench scoring.  Madison Southern shot 41.7% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Eric Boone led a balanced Bryan Station scoring attack with 13 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and six steals.  Jalen Burbage also scored 13 points including three three point baskets and four assists.  Myles Morones added 12 points and five rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Keaton Simpson recorded 11 points, four assists, and three steals.  Terrence Clayton-Murphy and 5-11 So. James Lindsay each scored 10 points.

 

Tre McCreath led Madison Southern with 13 points including three three point baskets, five assists, and three steals.  Shawn Short added 12 points and six rebounds.
