Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Mason Towery, 5-7 Sr. Bailee Alderson, 5-11 Jr. Sarah Sutton, 5-2 Sr. Sydney Day, and 5-6 Sr. Kali Mutter.  Casey County coach Tara Weddle countered with 5-6 Sr. Myra McGowen, 5-6 So. Jordyn Stephens, 5-8 So. Natalie Duggins, 5-5 So. Lauren Lee, and 5-6 So. Gena Cravens.

 

Casey County trailed 42-36 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Allen County-Scottsville by a score of 53-49.  Turnovers proved to be the downfall for Allen County-Scottsville as Casey County scored 25 points off 20 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.  Casey County shot 36.7% from the field including nine of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and held a 27-3 advantage in three point points.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 52.9% from the field including one of two from beyond the arc.  The Lady Patriots connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Casey County turnovers.

 

Lauren Lee led Casey County with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Myra McGowen added 12 points including two three point baskets.  Jordyn Stephens added 11 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Gena Cravens recorded nine points including six of six free throws.

 

Sarah Sutton led Allen County-Scottsville with 20 points including eight of eight free throws, seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and three assists.  Mason Towery added 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Bailee Alderson chipped in with nine points.
