Ohio Christian University coach 5-11 So. Michaela Puckett, 5-8 So. Eastern Kentucky University led 18-0 after the first quarter on their way to a 69-45 victory over Ohio Christian University.  Eastern Kentucky controlled inside play as they held a 38-8 in points in the paint and held a 22-10 advantage in second chance points.  Eastern Kentucky shot 41.1% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Ohio Christian turnovers.  Ohio Christian shot 20.7% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Trailblazers connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Shay Solomon led Eastern Kentucky with 15 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Abby Wright also scored 15 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Bria Bass added 13 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  A’Queen Hayes recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Madison Pierce chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Michaela Puckett led Ohio Christian with 17 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals.  Staci Dinsmore added 10 points and seven rebounds.  Chloe Baird recorded eight points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
