Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Sr. Andreus Green, 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick, and 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown.  Paris coach Terence Brooks countered with 6-2 Jr. Jalen Byars, 5-10 Sr. Eric Johnson, 6-2 Sr. Taleigh Adams, 5-7 Sr. Marcus Ashford, and 5-8 Jr. Travis Strings.

 

Henry Clay defeated Paris 58-53 in a hard fought contest in which there were six lead changes and six ties.  Henry Clay shot 41.5% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 20 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Paris turnovers.  Paris shot 35.8% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Greyhounds connected on 12 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 19 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Marquez Warrick led Henry Clay with 15 points including seven of 10 free throws and four rebounds.  Harris Hawkins added 11 points and 14 rebounds.  Jalen Williams chipped in with 10 points.  5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson added nine points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Andreus Green added seven points, seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.

 

Eric Johnson led Paris with 18 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  5-6 So. Jamaun Clark added 10 points and four rebounds.  Taleigh Adams chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.  Jalen Byars recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
