Doss coach Blake Stone started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Meith Reclow, 6-3 Sr. Taye Calloway, 6-6 Sr. Daron Washington, 6-2 Jr. Jeremiah Boyd, and 6-2 Sr. Stephon Franklin.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Sr. Andreus Green, 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick, and 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown.

 

Doss pulled away in the second half to eke out a 70-67 victory over Henry Clay.  Doss shot a sizzling 62.5% from beyond the arc.  Doss shot 58.1% from the field including 10 of 16 from the three point line.  The Dragons connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 46.4% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Doss turnovers.

 

Stephon Franklin led Doss with 23 points including five three point baskets.  6-4 Sr. LaQuay Kennerly added 17 points including two three point baskets.  Taye Calloway recorded 10 points and five assists.  6-0 Sr. Josh Nichols chipped in with nine points and five rebounds,

 

Marquez Warrick led Henry Clay with 20 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Keaston Brown added 15 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  Andreus Green recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.  Jalen Williams chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, and three assists. 5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson recorded eight points, four rebounds, and six assists.
