Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Macey Goff, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Bennett, 5-9 Sr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-3 Sr. Terri Abram, and 5-7 Jr. Lindi DeBilzan.  East Carter coach Hager Easterling countered with 5-9 So. Markita Gamsby, 5-9 Fr. Alyssa Stickler, 5-9 So. Hannah Gallion, 5-4 Fr. Halle Swanagan, and 5-6 Jr. Taylor Hall.

 

Lafayette outscored East Carter 34-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 55-24 victory.  Lafayette shot 39% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 18 East Carter turnovers.  East Carter shot 29% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders did not attempt a free throw, pulled down 17 free throws, and scored eight points off nine Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 22 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan added 14 points and six rebounds.

 

Halle Swanagan led East Carter with nine points on three three point baskets.  Alyssa Stickler added six points on two three point baskets.
