Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Cooper Robb, 6-1 Jr. Bryce Long, 6-7 Jr. Michael Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Diablo Stewart, and 5-11 Jr. Glenn Covington.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Sr. Andreus Green, 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick, and 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown.

 

Scott County outscored Henry Clay 20-8 in the first quarter on their way to a 71-58 victory.  Scott County shot 42.6% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 22 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 34% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Scott County turnovers.

 

Diablo Stewart led Scott County with 18 points including three three point baskets.  Michael Moreno added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Cooper Robb recorded 16 points and five rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Lorenzo Williams chipped in with 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

 

Marquez Warrick led Henry Clay with 23 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Keaston Brown added 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Jalen Williams chipped in with eight points.  Harris Hawkins recorded seven points and nine rebounds.
