Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Peyton Humphreys, 5-8 Sr. Anaiyah Cotton, 6-0 Fr. Elise Ellison-Coons, 5-8 Jr. Cheyenne Fullwood, and 5-6 Sr. Mashayla Cecil.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Jr. Macey Goff, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Bennett, 5-9 Sr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-3 Sr. Terri Abram, and 5-7 Jr. Lindi DeBilzan.

 

Lafayette defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 71-50.  Lafayette shot 43.6% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 20 of 25 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 23 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 30% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Terri Abram led Lafayette with 22 points including eight of eight free throws and eight assists.  Caroline Bennett added 20 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Tekiya Garr-Carter recorded 11 points and three rebounds.  Macey Goff chipped in with nine points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Lindi DeBilzan added five points, six rebounds, and four steals.

 

Mashayla Cecil led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 25 points including three three point baskets.  Elise Ellison-Coons added 12 points including 10 of 12 free throws.  Cheyenne Fullwood chipped in with eight points and Peyton Humphreys pulled down 11 rebounds.
