Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Carter Hendricksen, 6-7 Jr. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Sr. Austin Hall, 6-0 Jr. Pearce Dalton, and 6-2 Jr. Will Hacker.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 Jr. Michael Corio, 6-2 Jr. Jared Gadd, 6-5 Jr. Trevor Rogers, 5-10 Sr. JaQuice Gray, and 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Allen.

 

Lexington Christian Academy trailed 42-40 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 60-54.  The score was tied five times and there were 12 lead changes in the game.  Lexington Christian Academy shot 46.9% from the field including eight of 15 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 34.7% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 LCA turnovers.

 

Will Hacker led LCA with 18 points including five three point baskets and five assists.  Carter Hendricksen added 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Austin Hall recorded 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  Kyle Rode added four points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.

 

Jared Gadd led Dunbar with 14 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Isaiah Allen added 14 points including two three point baskets.  Michael Corio recorded 11 points and eight rebounds.
