Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Peyton Riddle, 5-10 Jr. Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Sr. Zakiyia Holt, 5-5 Jr. Juliette Smith, and 5-5 So. Morgan DeFoor.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon countered with 5-8 Jr. Cheyenne Fullwood, 5-8 Sr. Peyton Humphreys, 5-8 Sr. Anaiyah Cotton, 5-5 Fr. Tanaya Cecil, and 5-6 Sr. Mashayla Cecil.

Scott County led 64-39 in the third quarter on their way to a 79-67 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar.  Scott County shot 52.5% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Paul Laurence Dunbar turnovers.  Paul Laurence Dunbar shot 36.7% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 23 points including three three point baskets, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Maaliya Owens added 19 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Morgan DeFoor recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.  6-2 So. Malea Williams chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Mashayla Cecil led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 34 points including five three point baskets and three steals.  Cheyenne Fullwood added 11 points and five rebounds.
