Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Zan Payne, 6-3 Sr. TC Price, 6-7 Sr. Max Sparkman, 6-0 Sr. Keegan Bailey, and 5-11 Jr. Javen Hardin.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 Jr. Michael Corio, 6-2 Sr. Jared Gadd, 6-5 Jr. Trevor Rogers, 5-10 Sr. JaQuice Gray, and 6-2 Jr. Michael Allen.

Lexington Catholic pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 54-43.  The score was tied three times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Lexington Catholic shot 34.6% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 19 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 40% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Zan Payne led Lexington Catholic with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals.  Keegan Bailey added 16 points including three three point baskets.  TC Price recorded eight points, five rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. 

JaQuice Gray led Dunbar with 13 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Jared Gadd also scored 13 points including two three point baskets and four assists.  Trevor Rogers recorded six points, four rebounds, and four blocked shots.
