Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Zan Payne, 6-3 Sr. TC Price, 6-7 Sr. Max Sparkman, 6-0 Sr. Keegan Bailey, and 5-11 Jr. Javen Hardin. Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 Jr. Michael Corio, 6-2 Sr. Jared Gadd, 6-5 Jr. Trevor Rogers, 5-10 Sr. JaQuice Gray, and 6-2 Jr. Michael Allen.
Lexington Catholic pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 54-43. The score was tied three times and there were seven lead changes in the game. JaQuice Gray led Dunbar with 13 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Jared Gadd also scored 13 points including two three point baskets and four assists. Trevor Rogers recorded six points, four rebounds, and four blocked shots.
