Harrison County vs. Madison Central (Girls)

Harrison County coach Kimberly Marshall started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Sydney Morris, 5-9 So. Katelin Ecklar, 5-11 Jr. Kaylee Clements, 5-6 8th Grade Gabrielle Hatterick, and 5-7 Jr. Madison Kellione.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-7 So. Taleya Todd, 5-7 Sr. Blaze Pacheco, 5-10 So. Je’Kauri McKeithen, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Vanover, and 5-6 Jr. Madison Barnard.

 

Harrison County pulled away in the second half to defeat Madison Central by a score of 60-47.  Harrison County shot 51.1% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Fillies connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 34% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 20 Harrison County turnovers.

 

Madison Kellione led Harrison County with 20 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Sydney Morris added 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Gabrielle Hatterick recorded eight points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Kaylee Clements chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.

 

Je’Kauri McKeithen led Madison Central with 14 points and 15 rebounds.  Taleya Todd added 10 points, three assists, and three steals.  Bailey Vanover recorded eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Bailey was also awarded a game ball to commemorate her 1,000 th career point scored in an earlier game this season.
