Mason County coach Brad Cox started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Victoria Brooks, 5-6 Jr. Samantha Schumacher, 5-10 Sr. Kara Moran, 5-5 Fr. Rachel Payne, and 5-5 Sr. AJ Reed.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-8 Jr. Christian Gatewood, 5-8 Sr. Braxton Price, 5-8 Sr. Cheyenne Jones, 5-4 Sr. Alexis Lutz, and 5-7 Jr. Kiya Thompson.

Mason County raced out to a 24-3 first half lead on their way to a 47-29 victory over Henry Clay.  Mason County shot 45.9% from the field including one of four from the three point line.  The Lady Royals connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 23.4% from the field including two of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Mason County turnovers.

Kara Moran led Mason County with 10 points and five rebounds.  Rachel Payne added 10 points and three rebounds.  Victoria Brooks recorded nine points, four rebounds, and two steals.  AJ Reed added eight points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Samantha Schumacher chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.

Cheyenne Jones led Henry Clay with nine points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Braxton Price added nine points and three rebounds.
