Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Lexi Taylor, 5-8 So. Caroline Scott, 5-9 Sr. Amber Higdon, 5-5 Jr. Emmy Ralph, and 5-7 Sr. Cori Etherton. Franklin County coach Joey Thacker countered with 5-10 Jr. Samareah Levarity, 5-6 Sr. Emily Jordan, 5-10 8th Grade Patience Laster, 5-6 Sr. Kindall Talley, and 5-6 So. Jasmine Simpson.
Franklin County defeated Bullitt East by a score of 62-49. Franklin County shot 36.2% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. Bullitt East shot 31.2% from the field including nine of 28 from beyond the arc. The Lady Chargers connected on both free throw attempts, pulled down 30 rebounds, and committed eight turnovers.
5-7 Sr. Josie Thacker led Franklin County with 17 points including five three point baskets. Emily Jordan added 16 points. Jasmine Simpson recorded 10 points and nine rebounds. Kindall Talley chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Patience Laster added six points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots. Samareah Levarity also scored six points and pulled down eight rebounds.
Lexi Taylor led Bullitt East with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Emmy Ralph added 14 points including four three point baskets. Caroline Scott chipped in with seven points.
