Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Lexi Taylor, 5-7 So. Cori Etherton, 5-9 Sr. Amber Higdon, 5-5 Jr. Emmy Ralph, and 5-6 Jr. Allie Ray Thompson.  Eastern coach Josh Leslie countered with 5-11 Jr. Mikayla Kinnard, 5-8 Jr. Kiara Pearl, 5-11 Sr. Hunter Wright, 5-4 Sr. Brea Anthony, and 5-10 Sr. Bri Mishler.

Eastern led 30-28 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Bullitt East by a score of 71-45.  Eastern shot 46.2% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 18 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 28.3% from the field including two of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Eastern turnovers.

Hunter Wright led Eastern with 15 points, 10 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Mikayla Kinnard added 13 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.  Kiara Pearl and 5-8 Jr. Tedi Nunn each scored 10 points.

Lexi Taylor led Bullitt East with nine points and six rebounds.  Amber Higdon added eight points and six rebounds.  Emmy Ralph recorded eight points, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
