Cordia coach Jerry Stacy started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Marquis Frazier, 5-10 So. Darryen Pringle, 7-0 Sr. Oumar Keita, 5-9 Jr. Anthony Glasgow, and 5-11 Sr. Kareem McDonald.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Sr. Jayden Preston, 6-0 Jr. Dalton Bruner, 6-3 Sr. Kyle Anderson, 5-11 Sr. Drew Cook, and 5-11 Sr. Skyler Cannady.

 

Cordia pulled away in the final quarter to defeat West Jessamine by a score of 69-52.  Cordia shot 50% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lions connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 17 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 38.9% from the field including seven of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Cordia turnovers.

 

Kareem McDonald led Cordia with 20 points.  Marquis Frazier added 15 points and eight rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Ramon Mercado recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Oumar Keita added nine points and nine rebounds.

 

Dalton Bruner led West Jessamine with 17 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and six assists.  Skyler Cannady added 10 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Kyle Anderson recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Drew Cook chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
