Anderson County coach Glen Drury started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Brennon Maxberry, 5-11 So. Tyler Rice, 6-5 Sr. Christian Gritton, 5-9 So. Hunter Rutherford, and 5-11 Sr. Cobe Penny.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-3 Sr. Eric Powell, 6-1 Sr. Cameron King, 6-9 So. Ray Suratt, 5-11 Sr. Fousseyni Diallo, and 6-2 Jr. TeAndre Newcombe.

 

Lafayette defeated Anderson County by a score of 86-55.  Lafayette shot 52.2% from the field including 11 of 22 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 36 points off 24 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 44.2% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Bearcats connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Eric Powell led a balanced Lafayette scoring attack with 18 points including four three point baskets.  Cameron King added 14 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  6-1 Sr. Devontae Hayes recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  5-11 Sr. Alassane Diallo also scored 11 points including two three point baskets.  Ray Suratt chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds.

 

Cobe Penny led Anderson County with 24 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Hunter Rutherford added eight points on four of four from the field.  Christian Gritton recorded six points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.
