Clay County denied Fleming County their first victory of the year with a 42-40 come-from-behind victory over the Lady Panthers.  Clay County shot 35.1% from the field including three of 21 from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.  Fleming County shot 34.1% from the field including zero of two from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

5-9 So. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 22 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  5-6 Jr. Shelby Phillips added eight points including two three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. Summer Parker recorded six points and nine rebounds.

5-5 Sr. Morgan Fern led Fleming County with 16 points.  5-7 Sr. Alondra Jackson added 12 points and 13 rebounds.  5-0 Fr. Sydney Argo recorded 10 points.
