Boyle County coach Steve Adams started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Reece Smith, 6-0 Sr. Jason Alexander, 6-6 Sr. Will Bramel, 5-10 Sr. Bryce Slone, and 5-11 So. Grant Hotchkiss.  Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-8 Jr. Nick Thelen, 6-4 Sr. CJ Fredrick, 7-1 Sr. Jack Walter, 6-0 Sr. Casey Nowak, and 5-10 Sr. Aiden Rurhsatz.

Covington Catholic shot a sizzling 65.2% from the field in an 82-55 victory over Boyle County.  Covington Catholic shot 65.2% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Boyle County turnovers.  Boyle County shot 45.7% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Rebels connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 14 rebounds, and scored nine points off five Covington Catholic turnovers.

CJ Fredrick led Covington Catholic with 27 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and five assists.  Fredrick was 11 of 13 from the field including four of six beyond the arc and connected on his only free throw.  Jake Walter added 18 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Aiden Ruthsatz recorded 12 points including three three point baskets and five assists.  6-3 Sr. AJ Mayer chipped in with 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

Reece Smith led Boyle County with 15 points including two three point baskets.  Jason Alexander added 12 points and five assists.  Grant Hotchkiss also scored 12 points including two three point baskets.  Will Bramel recorded nine points and six rebounds.
