Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry countered with 5-11 So. Chad Fugate, 5-9 So. Hunter Buchanan, 6-1 Sr. Landen Stacy, 5-8 Sr. Tre McCreath, and 5-9 Sr. Shawn Short.
Madison Central dominated from horn to horn today on their way to a 74-40 victory over Madison Southern. Madison Central shot 51% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 24% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Madison Central turnovers.
Isaiah Minter led Madison Central with 18 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Jacori Miller added 12 points and four rebounds. Isaiah Cozart recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots. Dustin Geralds chipped in with nine points and four rebounds.
Chad Fugate led Madison Southern with 10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Hunter Buchanan recorded six points and four rebounds.
