Frederick Douglass coach Shawn Ransom started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Destyne Jackson, 5-8 Fr. Kasia Parks, 5-9 8th Grade Allison Wallace, 5-6 8th Grade Timothi Williams, and 5-6 So. Ashanti Hollingsworth. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 Sr. Peyton Riddle, 5-10 Jr. Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Sr. Zakiyia Holt, 5-5 Jr. Juliette Smith, and 5-5 So. Morgan DeFoor.
Scott County scored 45 points off 27 Frederick Douglass turnovers in a 97-36 victory. Scott County shot 54.3% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 13 of 19 free throws and pulled down 40 rebounds. Frederick Douglass shot 27.3% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Broncos connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and did not score off five Scott County turnovers.
Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 27 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds, and five steals in 16:03 minutes of playing time. Morgan DeFoor added 19 points and three assists. 6-2 So. Malea Williams recorded 18 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Williams was nine of 10 from the field. Maaliya Owens chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Juliette Smith recorded seven points, five rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
Destyne Jackson led Frederick Douglass with 17 points including two three point baskets. Allison Wallace added eight points and seven rebounds.
