42nd District Tournament

Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams, 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown, 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson, and 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick.  Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson Jr. countered with 6-3 Sr. Eric Boone, 6-2 Sr. Terrance Clayton-Murphy, 6-2 Jr. Jalen Burbage, 5-11 Fr. Myles Morones, and 5-11 Jr. Kendrick Curry.

 

Bryan Station defeated Henry Clay by a score of 65-52.  Bryan Station shot 45% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 24 of 32 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 36% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Eric Boone led a balanced Bryan Station attack with 20 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Terrance Clayton-Murphy added 15 points including 11 of 12 free throws and five rebounds.  Jalen Burbage recorded 13 points including two three point baskets.  Myles Morones chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds.

 

Marquez Warrick led Henry Clay with 19 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.  6-4 Sr. Andreus Green added 14 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Keaston Brown added 14 points and three assists.
