Simon Kenton outscored Bryan Station 17-0 in the second quarter on their way to a 37-20 victory over Bryan Station. Simon Kenton recorded 22 first downs and 417 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized three times for 20 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 316 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized nine times for 60 yards.
Caleb Farfsing led Simon Kenton’s ground attack with 198 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Austin Hammack carried the ball 12 times for 91 yards and a touchdown. Jon Sergent recorded 51 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Quincy North added 25 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Caleb Farfsing completed six of 11 passes for 69 yards with one interception. Erik Brown caught three passes for 23 yards. Evan Mulberry added two receptions for 29 yards. Austin Hammack returned two kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 32 yards. Clay Cogswell led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. JJ Courtney added six solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.
Antoine Smith led Bryan Station’s ground game with 86 yards on 14 carries. Jalen Burbage carried the ball 11 times for 17 yards. Jalen Burbage completed 20 of 32 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Dadrien Taylor caught eight passes for 88 yards. Amodeus Taylor added six receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown. Kendrick Curry caught four passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. Kyran Campbell led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. C. McKinley added seven solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards and recovered a fumble. D. Ramirez recorded five solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Dennis Abw intercepted a pass.
