Freddie Chenault ran for four touchdowns and the Madison Central backs recorded 296 yards and five touchdowns on 39 plays for a robust 7.6 yards per carry. The Indian defense held Madison Southern to 194 yards of total offense, intercepted two passes and recovered two fumbles. The defense scored a touchdown on a 42 yard interception return by Deashon Gowdey. Madison Central recorded 22 first downs and 400 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized seven times for 59 yards. Madison Southern recorded 12 first downs and 194 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized four times for 42 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.
Freddie Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 163 yards and four touchdowns on 19 carries. Ethan Hahn carried the ball eight times for 92 yards. Derrick Miller added 26 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Derrick Miller completed nine of 14 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Blake Muntz caught five passes for 60 yards. Freddie Chenault added two receptions for 13 yards. Ben Snapp caught a 34 yard touchdown pass. Jackson Juett led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles. Nate Storie added four solo and two assisted tackles. Ben Snapp recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 16 yard loss. Deashon Gowdey recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass he returned 42 yards for a touchdown. Kenton Humphrey recorded an interception and Kolby Jackson recovered a fumble.
Tobias Storm led Madison Southern’s ground game with 70 yards on 20 carries. Alex Knuckles carried the ball eight times for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Tobias Storm completed seven of 16 passes for 80 yards with two interceptions. Alex Knuckles caught two passes for 34 yards. Seth Shepherd added two receptions for 33 yards. Clay Tinsley returned three kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Austin Hansel returned two kickoffs for 56 yards with a long return of 45 yards. Cody Blair led the defense with one solo and nine assisted tackles. Levi Benton added two solo and six assisted tackles. Clay Bunch recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.
