Scott County won a come-from-behind 10-7 victory over Archbishop Moeller.  This was a signature win in a long line of big wins for Coach Jim McKee’s Cardinals as it was their first win over a member of Ohio’s Greater Catholic League.  Scott County took a 3-0 halftime lead but Moeller took a 7-3 lead after three quarters.  Workhorse RB Austin Barnett took over in the final quarter and scored on a five yard run at the 7:49 mark and with Josh Giese’s conversion kick Scott County took a 10-7 lead.  The Scott County defense made two fourth down stops in the final seven minutes and Austin Barnett ran for a game clinching first down to ensure the victory.

Scott County recorded 13 first downs and 279 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized three times for 20 yards.  Moeller recorded 10 first downs and 170 yards of total offense.  The Crusaders were penalized seven times for 45 yards.
