Western Hills coach Geoff Cody started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Peyton Cody, 6-0 Sr. Cameron Loman, 6-2 Sr. James Robertson, 5-9 Sr. Nate Johnson, and 5-11 So. Noah Smith. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-2 Sr. Will Hacker, 6-1 Sr. Matthew Johnson, 6-7 Sr. Kyle Rode, 5-10 Sr. Baylor Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Pearce Dalton.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Western Hills by a score of 65-52. LCA shot 49% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on nine of 13 from the free throw line, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 19 Western Hills turnovers. Western Hills shot 44.9% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Wolverines connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 LCA turnovers.
Kyle Rode led LCA with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Will Hacker added 11 points. 6-1 Jr. Zeke Grier recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Pearce Dalton chipped in with eight points.
Cameron Loman led Western Hills with 21 points and nine rebounds. Peyton Cody added 16 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds. James Robertson recorded 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
