Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Josie Gilvin, 5-9 Jr. Callie Birk, 6-0 Jr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Jr. Destinee Marshall, and 5-6 Sr. Ashlee Harris.  Dixie Heights coach Jim Steczynski countered with 5-8 Fr. Madelyn Lawson, 5-8 Jr. Celia Pelfrey, 5-9 Sr. Kaylee McGinn, 5-6 So. Sydney Lockard, and 5-6 Sr. Grace Perry.

Dixie Heights led Sacred Heart Academy 19-9 after the first quarter but the Valkyries rallied to pull away for an 81-52 victory.  Sacred Heart score 29 points off 23 Dixie Heights turnovers and recorded 17 steals.  Sacred Heart shot 54.4% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and held a19-6 advantage in bench scoring.  Dixie Heights shot 41.3% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Colonels connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Ashlee Harris led Sacred Heart with 23 points including three three point baskets, four assists, and five steals.  Kristen Clemons added 21 points, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals.  5-11 Fr. Alex Wolff recorded 15 points and five rebounds.

Madelyn Lawson led Dixie Heights with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Grace Perry added 12 points.
