Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Evan Dreux, 5-8 Sr. Caleb True, 6-9 Jr. Ray Surratt, 5-5 So. Daniel Kinley, and 5-6 So. Campbell DeYoung.  Simon Kenton coach Trent Steiner countered with 6-2 So. Kelly Niece, 6-1 Jr. Logan Schwartz, 6-3 Sr. Colton Lair, 5-10 Sr. Robbie Krohman, and 5-11 Jr. Jeremy Davis.

 

Simon Kenton defeated Lafayette by a score of 90-81.  Simon Kenton shot 56.9% from the field including 10 of 24 from the three point line.  The Pioneers connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 55.2% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Simon Kenton turnovers.

 

Kelly Niece led Simon Kenton with 27 points including three three point baskets.  Logan Schwartz added 16 points including two three point baskets, six of eight free throws, five rebounds, and three assists.  Jeremy Davis recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Robbie Krohman chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets.  Colton Lair also reached double figures with 10 points.

 

Ray Surratt led Lafayette with 27 points and eight rebounds.  Campbell DeYoung added 21 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists.  6-2 Sr. Javen Hardin recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  Evan Dreux added 10 points.
