Franklin County vs. Bryan Station (Girls)

Franklin County raced out to an early lead on their way to an 84-50 victory over Bryan Station.  Franklin County shot 47.4% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 22 of 26 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 31.7% from the field including five of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers.

 

5-11 Fr. Patience Laster led Franklin County with 27 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Laster was nine of 11 from the field and nine of 11 from the free throw line.  5-6 So. Brooklynn Miles added 15 points including two three point baskets, six assists, and four steals.  5-4 Sr. Shannon Brunette recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists.  5-4 Sr. Julia Welsh chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.  5-8 Sr. Samareah Levarity added six points and seven rebounds.

 

5-8 Sr. Kelynn Clay led Bryan Station with 17 points including three three point baskets.  5-0 So. Natoria Godoy added 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  5-7 Fr. Tania Woodall recorded nine points.
