Boone County coach Ryan Bowman started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Adrianna Haynes, 5-7 Sr. Kayla Anderson, 5-8 So. Kelsie Anderson, 5-1 Jr. Alissa Avila, and 5-6 So. Skylar Holder.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 So. Kenady Tomkins, 5-10 Sr. Maaliya Owens, 6-2 Jr. Malea Williams, 5-5 Jr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-6 Sr. Juliette Smith.

 

Scott County defeated Boone County by a score of 87-51.  Scott County shot 54.7% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 14 Boone County turnovers.  Boone County shot 27.6% from the field including nine of 30 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

 

Maaliya Owens led Scott County with 25 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three steals.  Morgan DeFoor added 15 points including three three point baskets, three assists, and two steals.  Kenady Tomkins recorded 11 points and six rebounds.  Juliette Smith chipped in with 11 points, eight assists, and three steals.  5-6 Fr. Timothi Williams added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Malea Williams added eight points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Adrianna Haynes led Boone County with 13 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Kelsie Anderson added 10 points and six rebounds.  Kayla Anderson recorded nine points on three three point baskets and four rebounds.
