Southwestern coach Stephen D. Butcher started the following lineup: 5-9 Fr. Kylie Forman, 5-8 Jr. Kennedy Harris, 5-11 Jr. Regi Cundiff, 5-4 Jr. Jenna Wood, and 5-6 So. Alexa Smiddy.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 So. Kenady Tomkins, 5-10 Sr. Maaliya Owens, 6-2 Jr. Malea Williams, 5-5 Sr. Juliette Smith, and 5-5 Jr. Morgan DeFoor.

 

Scott County defeated Southwestern by a score of 78-50.  Scott County shot 46.8% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Southwestern turnovers.  Scott County held a 15-1 advantage on second chance points.   Southwestern shot 35.2% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Warriors connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Scott County turnovers.

 

Maaliya Owens led Scott County with 26 points including four three point baskets.  Malea Williams added 15 points, 18 rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.  Juliette Smith recorded 16 points and six assists.  Morgan DeFoor chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Kenady Tomkins pulled down nine rebounds.

 

Regi Cundiff led Southwestern with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Kennedy Harris added eight points including two three point baskets.  Kylie Forman recorded seven points and six rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Kallie Sheron added six points and three rebounds.
