Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Hailey Gadd, 5-8 So. Tanaya Cecil, 5-11 So. Elise Ellison-Coons, 5-7 Sr. Riley Feddock, and 5-7 Sr. Cheyenne Fullwood.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 So. Kenady Tomkins, 5-10 Sr. Maaliya Owens, 6-2 Jr. Malea Williams, 5-6 Sr. Juliette Smith, and 5-6 Jr. Morgan DeFoor.

 

Scott County defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 88-53.  Scott County recorded 22 steals and scored 30 points off 23 Dunbar turnovers.  Scott County shot 53% from the field including 14 of 32 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on four of six free throws and pulled down 30 rebounds.  Dunbar shot 40% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

 

Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 23 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  Maaliya Owens added 19 points including four three point baskets, six assists, and nine steals.  Owens also reached the 2,000 point plateau tonight.  Malea Williams recorded 18 points, six rebounds, and two steals. 

 

Elise Ellison-Coons led Dunbar with 14 points including seven of eight free throws.  Riley Feddock added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Cheyenne Fullwood chipped in with 10 points.
