Bryan Station coach Brian Hall started the following lineup; 5-8 Sr. Kelynn Clay, 5-7 Sr. Kristen McGeachy, 5-8 Sr. Amilleon Black, 5-0 So. Tori Godoy, and 5-3 Sr. Stephanie Bueno. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Sr. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-11 Fr. Anaya Brown, 5-11 Sr. Macey Goff, 5-6 Fr. Lauren Walton, and 5-7 Fr. Olivia Cathers.
Lafayette raced out to a 24-4 first quarter lead on their way to a 71-47 victory over Bryan Station. Lafayette shot 49.1% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 22 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 32.7% from the field including 10 of 25 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on one of four free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored five points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.
Lindi DeBilzan led Lafayette with 26 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Macey Goff added 17 points including nine of 14 free throws, eight rebounds, four assists, and seven steals. Lauren Walton recorded 12 points including two three point baskets. Anaya Brown added 10 points, 13 rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.
5-7 Fr. Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 19 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds. Kelynn Clay added 12 points including three three point baskets. Amilleon Black pulled down 10 rebounds and Tori Godoy dished out eight assists.
