Bryan Station coach Brian Hall started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Amilleon Black, 5-8 Sr. Kelynn Clay, 6-0 So. Olea Woodall, 5-0 So. Natoria Godoy, and 5-7 Fr. Tania Woodall.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 So. Kenady Tomkins, 5-10 Sr. Maaliya Owens, 6-2 Jr. Malea Williams, 5-6 Sr. Juliette Smith, and 5-5 Jr. Morgan DeFoor.

 

Scott County raced out to a 41-15 first quarter lead on their way to an 89-51 victory over Bryan Station.  Scott County shot 53% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 24 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 34.5% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored three points off eight Scott County turnovers.

 

Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 16 points, nine assists, and five steals.  Maaliya Owens added 15 points, three assists, and four steals.  Kenady Tomkins recorded 13 points.  Malea Williams chipped in with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-6 Fr. Emma Price added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Eleven Lady Cardinals logged from 9:55 to 16:58 playing time in this game.

 

Kelynn Clay led Bryan Station with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Tania Woodall added 13 points and seven rebounds.  5-3 Sr. Stephanie Bueno recorded six points on two three point baskets.  Natoria Godoy added five points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
