University Tennessee Martin coach Kevin McMillan started the following lineup: 6-2 So. Chelsey Perry, 5-8 Sr. Emanye Robertson, 6-2 So. Maddie Waldrop, 5-6 So. Tamiah Sanford, and 5-7 So. Zaire Hicks.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 5-11 So. Bria Bass, 5-8 Jr. Shay Solomon, 6-0 Jr. Catie Kaifes, 5-6 So. Teri Goodlett, and 5-5 Fr. Mashayla Cecil.

UT Martin outscored Eastern Kentucky University 17-6 in the second quarter on their way to an 87-61 victory.  UT Martin shot 44.6% from the field including 10 of 30 from the three point line.  The Skyhawks connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.  University Tennessee Martin held a 34-3 advantage in bench scoring.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 34.6% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored five points off four University Tennessee Martin turnovers.

Chelsey Perry led University Tennessee Martin turnovers with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.  Emanye Robertson added 12 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.  5-10 Fr. Brittni Moore recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Maddie Waldrop chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, and three assists.  5-8 Fr. Sade’ Hudson added nine points on three three point baskets.

Catie Kaifes led Eastern Kentucky University with 18 points including four three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Shay Solomon added 13 points including five of five free throws, five rebounds, and six assists.  Bria Bass recorded 12 points and eight rebounds.  Teri Goodlett added 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
