Madison Southern coach Summer Simmons started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Reece Estep, 5-9 Sr. Zaria Carter, 5-10 Jr. Aleigh Richardson, 5-6 Jr. Sunni Walters, and 5-6 So. Samantha Cornelison.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-9 Fr. Chloe Treece, 5-5 Sr. Catey Nash, 5-8 Sr. Maylo Given, 5-7 Jr. Farah Weldon, and 5-7 Sr. Jay Ballard.

Lexington Catholic defeated Madison Southern 61-57 in overtime.  There were five lead changes and eight ties in this game.  Lexington Catholic shot 37.7% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 20 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 35.8% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 20 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Chloe Treece led Lexington Catholic with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.  Jay Ballard added 16 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, and two steals.

5-6 Fr. Morgan Flannery led Madison Southern with 16 points.  Aleigh Richardson added nine points and seven rebounds.  Samantha Cornelison recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Zaria Carter added six points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.
