Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Josh DuToit, 6-0 So. Mikaleb Coffey, 6-5 Sr. Deonte Edmonds, 5-10 Jr. Cion Townsend, and 6-2 Jr. Amari Taylor.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-2 Sr. Will Hacker, 6-1 Sr. Matthew Johnson, 6-7 Sr. Kyle Rode, 5-10 Sr. Baylor Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Pearce Dalton.

 

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Tates Creek by a score of 65-61.  The score was tied twice and there were four lead changes in the game.  LCA shot 50% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 60% from the field including six of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 LCA turnovers.

 

Kyle Rode led Lexington Christian Academy with 34 points including two three point baskets, 10 of 10 free throws, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  6-1 Jr. Zeke Grier added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Will Hacker added 10 points including two three point baskets.

 

Amari Taylor led Tates Creek with 20 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, four rebounds, and three assists.  6-2 Sr. Isiah Hunt added 10 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Deonte Edmonds chipped in with eight points.
