Tennessee State University coach Jessica Kern started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Jaden Wrightsell, 5-9 Sr. Asia Sims. 6-0 Sr. Tia Wooten, 5-7 Sr. Lauren Elliot, and 5-7 So. Eastern Kentucky University was limited to 16 points in the final three quarters in a 57-31 loss to Tennessee State University.  TSU shot 42.3% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 23 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 24.5% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on one of two free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Tennessee State turnovers.

Tia Wooten led Tennessee State University with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Jaden Wrightsell added 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists.  5-10 So. Cebria Outlow recorded eight points and four rebounds.  Andreana Wrister chipped in with five points, eight rebounds, and five steals.

Bria Bass led Eastern Kentucky University with eight points, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Paige Murphy added seven points and two steals.  Teri Goodlett recorded six points and three rebounds.  Shay Solomon recorded eight rebounds and four assists.
