Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Paige Taylor, 5-7 Sr. Jaylyn Shorter, 6-1 Jr. TaZiah Jenks, 5-5 Jr. Hope Sivori, and 5-9 Sr. Regan Berger.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Fr. Alex Wolff, 5-10 Fr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Jr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Jr. Destinee Marshall, and 5-6 Sr. Ashlee Harris.

Sacred Heart Academy pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Mercy Academy by a score of 62-45.  Sacred Heart shot 49% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 25.9% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart Academy with 14 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.  Destinee Marshall added 14 points, seven assists, and three steals.  Ashlee Harris recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. Callie Birk added nine points and six rebounds.

TaZiah Jenks led Mercy Academy with 18 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Hope Sivori added 16 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.
