Sacred Heart academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Alex Wolff, 5-10 Fr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Jr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Jr. Destinee Marshall, and 5-6 Sr. Ashlee Harris. Scott coach Rhonda Klette countered with 5-9 Sr. Emma Profitt, 5-7 8th Grade Ava Coleman, 5-10 So. Sofia Allen, 5-5 So. Malayia Lewis, and 5-9 Sr. Summer Secrist.
Sacred Heart Academy defeated Scott by a score of 70-55. Sacred Heart Academy shot 59.6% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Scott turnovers. Scott shot 36.8% from the field including one of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 25 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.
Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart Academy with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Ashlee Harris added 18 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Destinee Marshall recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and three steals. Josie Gilvin added five points, six rebounds, and seven assists.
5-10 So. Mya Meredith led Scott with 20 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Sofia Allen added 13 points and three rebounds. Summer Secrist recorded 11 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
