Eastern Kentucky University coach A.W. Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-8 Fr. Tre King, 6-4 Fr. Houston King, 6-9 Sr. Nick Mayo, 5-10 Jr. Dujuanta Weaver, and 6-2 Jr. Kelvin Robinson.  Morehead State University coach Preston Spradlin countered with 6-6 So. James Baker, 6-4 So. De’von Cooper, 6-7 Sr. Lamontray Harris, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Walker, and 6-0 Sr. AJ Hicks.

Morehead State University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 78-72.  Morehead State shot 42.6% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 25 of 30 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off seven Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 33.3% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Morehead State turnovers.

Jordan Walker led Morehead State with 18 points including two three point baskets, six of eight free throws, and four rebounds.  James Baker added 14 points including two three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Lamontray Harris recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds.  De’von Cooper added 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  AJ Hicks recorded eight points on eight of 10 free throws, 10 assists, and two blocked shots.

Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky with 32 points including seven of eight free throws, 11 rebounds, and three steals.  6-2 Fr. Jomaru Brown added 18 points including seven of 10 free throws, three rebounds, and three steals.  Dujuanta Weaver recorded nine points on three three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Tre King chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.
